Airfloa Rail Technology Secures ₹1.25 Crore Order from Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala

Airfloa Rail Technology Limited has secured a domestic order worth ₹1.25 crore from the Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala for the supply of luggage rack modules for LHB coaches.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order involves supplying sets of luggage rack modules designed for LHB non-AC and AC chair car coaches, which form an integral part of coach interiors for Indian Railways.

The contract is domestic in nature and is scheduled to be executed within a period of four months, reflecting a short-cycle manufacturing and delivery timeline.

The order is governed by Indian Railways’ standard conditions of contract, including compliance with the General Conditions of Contract for the Stores Department, along with applicable provisions and addendums. It also includes third-party inspection by a nominated agency to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout execution.

In terms of payment structure, the company has outlined a milestone-based disbursement mechanism, where:
•95% of the order value will be released upon submission of the inspection certificate and proof of dispatch/delivery
•The remaining 5% will be paid after receipt, inspection, and acceptance by the consignee

Airfloa Rail Technology has confirmed that the contract does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity, ensuring transparency and arm’s length execution.

The company, based in Chennai, is engaged in the manufacturing of railway rolling stock components and interior systems, supplying to key production units such as the Integral Coach Factory and other railway coach manufacturing facilities, along with serving global rolling stock OEMs and select aerospace and defence segments.

This order further strengthens Airfloa’s position in the railway components segment, adding to its ongoing engagements with Indian Railways and reinforcing its presence in the coach manufacturing supply chain.
