Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited Commissions 7th MV/EHV Cable Production Line at Vadodara Facility

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has successfully commissioned its seventh MV/EHV Power Cable Production Line based on Continuous Catenary Vulcanisation (CCV) technology at its advanced manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. The development marks a significant expansion in the company’s manufacturing capabilities for medium-voltage and extra-high-voltage power cables.

The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted to both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on May 15, 2026.

With the commissioning of the new production line, the company’s existing production capacity of 900 kilometres per month will increase by an additional 150 kilometres per month. At present, the facility is operating at around 60 percent capacity utilisation.

The company has invested approximately Rs 55 crore in the expansion project, which has been financed through internal accruals. According to the filing, the capacity enhancement has been undertaken to meet the growing demand for power cable products in the market.

The newly commissioned CCV-based production line is expected to strengthen the company’s position in the power transmission and distribution sector by improving manufacturing efficiency and supporting higher output requirements.
