Dynamic Cables Signs Manufacturing Agreement with TS Conductor Corp to Produce Advanced HTLS Conductors

Dynamic Cables Limited (DCL) has announced that it has entered into a manufacturing agreement with TS Conductor Corp, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the high-performance transmission conductor segment. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.

Under the agreement, DCL will manufacture High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) Carbon Core Conductors, which will be marketed under the TS® Conductor brand. The production will take place at the company’s manufacturing facility in India, utilizing Aluminum Encapsulated Composite Core supplied by TS Conductor Corp or its authorized partners.

TS Conductor Corp, headquartered in Huntington Beach, California, specializes in advanced power transmission solutions using its patented Aluminum Encapsulated Carbon Core (AECC) technology. These conductors are designed to significantly enhance grid capacity without requiring new infrastructure. They are lighter, stronger, and capable of reducing transmission losses by up to 50%.

As part of the agreement, TS has granted DCL a limited, non-transferable license to use its designs and intellectual property strictly for manufacturing approved HTLS conductors. The procurement of the composite core will be conducted on an arm’s length basis, with pricing determined by prevailing input costs, project specifications, timelines, and other techno-commercial factors.

The agreement has an initial tenure of 12 months and is subject to automatic renewal for two additional terms of 12 months each, based on mutual consent between both parties.

This collaboration is positioned as a strategic technology alliance aimed at tapping into the growing demand for efficient transmission solutions. HTLS Carbon Core Conductors are expected to play a crucial role in improving grid efficiency and have a premium positioning over conventional ACSR and AAAC conductors.

The partnership is anticipated to enable Dynamic Cables to expand its product portfolio in the fast-growing HTLS segment and cater to key sectors including power transmission utilities, state transmission companies, railways, and renewable energy developers.
