KEC International Ltd. has announced the acquisition of new orders worth ₹2,518 crore across its Civil, Transportation, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), and Cables & Conductors businesses, reinforcing its position as a global infrastructure EPC leader.
The Civil business has secured its largest-ever commercial real estate order from a leading developer in Western India, marking a significant milestone for the company and expanding its client portfolio.
In the Transportation segment, the company has won an order through a joint venture in the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) segment under the indigenous ‘Kavach’ initiative in India, aimed at enhancing railway safety through advanced technology deployment.
The T&D business has strengthened its international presence with multiple orders, including projects for 400/132/66 kV transmission lines in Africa. Additional orders include transmission lines and substations across international markets, along with the supply of towers in Europe and the Americas, and hardware and poles in the Americas.
Meanwhile, the Cables & Conductors segment has secured orders for the supply of a wide range of cables and conductors in both domestic and overseas markets.
Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO, said the company is pleased with the diversified order wins. He highlighted that the Civil business milestone strengthens its portfolio with a marquee client, while the Transportation segment continues to expand its footprint in the growing TCAS (‘Kavach’) domain, contributing to enhanced safety for Indian Railways. He also noted that the international T&D order book is becoming increasingly diversified, with Africa showing signs of market recovery through successive order inflows.
