RailTel Corporation of India has secured a significant railway signaling contract worth ₹15.67 crore (inclusive of taxes) from the Jodhpur division of the North Western Railway. The order involves double distant signaling work in the Jajiwal–Nawa City section, with completion scheduled for May 13, 2027. The contract further strengthens RailTel’s position in executing critical railway modernization and safety enhancement projects across the network.
The company has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer (Sr. DSTE), Jodhpur, confirming the award of the project. The scope of work includes the provision and implementation of double distant signals across the Jajiwal (JWL) to Nawa City (NAC) section, aimed at improving operational safety and traffic efficiency on the route.
The total contract value stands at ₹15,67,22,761, inclusive of all applicable taxes. RailTel Corporation of India formally received the work order on May 16, 2026.
This project is part of ongoing infrastructure upgradation efforts within the North Western Railway network, contributing to enhanced signaling reliability and improved train movement management. With this order, RailTel continues to expand its footprint in specialized railway signaling and telecommunications projects aligned with national rail infrastructure development priorities.
