Aditya Infotech Executes 50:50 Joint Venture Agreement with Orient Cables to Expand Cable Manufacturing Business

Aditya Infotech Limited (AIL) executed a 50:50 joint venture agreement with Orient Cables (India) Limited on April 16, 2026, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the electric cable manufacturing segment.

The agreement followed an earlier memorandum of understanding signed between the two companies in February 2026 and formalised their collaboration to establish a jointly owned entity. The proposed joint venture will focus on the manufacturing of electric cables, including LAN cables and CCTV cables, along with terminated assemblies, connectors, and other allied products.

Under the terms of the agreement, both AIL and Orient Cables will hold equal equity stakes in the new private limited company, which is yet to be incorporated. The joint venture is intended to cater to domestic demand, with products being supplied to both companies and their respective affiliates, as well as to identified customers through Orient’s distribution channels.

The collaboration aims to leverage the manufacturing and market strengths of both entities, enabling them to enhance product offerings and expand their footprint in the growing cable and connectivity solutions market.

The partners have agreed to contribute equally towards the formation and capitalisation of the joint venture company, ensuring balanced ownership and operational participation in the new venture.
