Bharat Electronics Limited Secures New Orders Worth Rs. 569 Crore

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has secured new orders valued at Rs. 569 crore, marking a strong start to its order inflow for the financial year 2026–27. The contracts, announced in a press release dated April 22, 2026, reflect continued demand for BEL’s advanced defence technologies and services.

The newly acquired orders span a broad spectrum of high-technology defence solutions, reinforcing BEL’s established position in India’s domestic defence manufacturing landscape. This initial order book for the fiscal year signals sustained momentum and confidence in the company’s capabilities.

The scope of the contracts includes a diverse portfolio of equipment and services, such as avionics and electronic warfare (EW) systems, high energy laser technology, communication equipment, and tank sub-systems. Additionally, BEL will supply laser-based fuzes, test equipment, and undertake various upgrades, along with providing spares and maintenance services.

These orders highlight BEL’s comprehensive expertise across multiple defence domains.
