Bluspring Enterprises Acquires LSG Sky Chefs’ Bengaluru Unit for ₹129 Crore

Bluspring Enterprises Limited has announced the acquisition of the Bengaluru operations of LSG Sky Chefs India Private Limited for an enterprise value of ₹129 crore, marking its entry into the aviation catering and airport services segment.

The acquisition is being carried out through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bluspring New Horizon Two Private Limited, which has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% stake in the Bengaluru-based unit. The transaction is expected to be completed within 60–90 days, subject to customary closing conditions.

The acquired business includes a large-scale in-flight catering facility at Bengaluru Airport, operating under a long-term concession agreement valid until 2039. The facility spans approximately 9,272 sq. metres and has a production capacity of around 15,000 meals per day, catering to both domestic and international airlines.

Financially, the Bengaluru operations generate annual revenues exceeding ₹110 crore, with mid-to-high teen EBITDA margins, reflecting a stable and profitable business model within the aviation services ecosystem.

The unit currently serves several leading airlines, including IndiGo, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways, positioning it as a key player in airport-based catering operations.

From a strategic perspective, the acquisition marks a significant diversification move for Bluspring, enabling it to expand beyond its core infrastructure and facility management services into high-entry-barrier aviation services. The company aims to leverage this platform to explore adjacent opportunities in airport-linked services and hospitality segments.

The deal also aligns with the expected growth in air traffic at Bengaluru Airport, where passenger volumes are projected to rise substantially over the coming years, creating strong demand for aviation catering and related services.

Overall, the acquisition strengthens Bluspring’s position as an integrated services platform, while opening up new avenues for long-term growth in the aviation infrastructure and services space.
