Marsons Limited has received a Letter of Award/Purchase Order valued at ₹29,84,99,000 (approximately USD 3.1 million) from a US-based solar energy developer for the supply of a 200 MVA, 115 kV power transformer, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing.
The order pertains to an international solar power project located in Cherokee County, Alabama, USA, and involves the manufacturing and supply of a high-capacity transformer. The execution timeline for the contract is expected to exceed 12 months.
According to the disclosure made under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the contract has been awarded by an international entity, with no involvement or interest from the promoter or promoter group in the awarding organization. The company also clarified that the order does not fall under related party transactions.
