Pace Digitek Limited, an integrated provider of energy solutions and telecom infrastructure, has secured a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC and long-term O&M contract from NLC India Renewables Limited for the implementation of a 250 MW / 500 MWh BESS project in Tamil Nadu.
The contract value stands at ₹7,099 million (including GST) and includes complete Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) execution excluding supply of power transformers, along with 12-year comprehensive Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services.
The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing-linked supply, installation, testing, commissioning and associated civil, structural and infrastructure works for deployment of the 250 MW / 500 MWh BESS project across multiple locations in Tamil Nadu.
This marks the second BESS order win for FY2027, building on the strong momentum achieved in FY2026, during which the Company reported Energy segment order inflows of ₹58,147 million, driven by increasing traction in BESS and renewable-linked opportunities. With this order, Pace Digitek’s FY2027 year-to-date Energy segment order wins have reached ₹14,119 million, while cumulative Energy segment order wins stand at ₹ 97,869 million.
With expanding manufacturing capabilities, EPC expertise and long-term lifecycle service offerings, Pace Digitek remains well positioned in the evolving utility-scale BESS segment.
The project structure is strategically significant as it combines manufacturing-linked supply with long-term O&M services, supporting lifecycle revenue visibility and stronger long-term customer engagement. The multi-location deployment also demonstrates the Company’s execution scalability across utility-scale energy storage projects.
With successive wins across leading utilities, Pace Digitek continues to scale its BESS portfolio. This order expands the Company’s cumulative BESS project portfolio to over 5 GWh, spanning utility-scale storage, renewable integration and grid support applications, further reinforcing its position as a vertically integrated BESS player with strong execution and long-term service capabilities.
Commenting on the development, Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Venugopal Rao Maddisetty said, “We are pleased to secure this BESS project from NLC India Renewables, which further strengthens our presence in the utility-scale energy storage segment and expands our portfolio of large-format BESS deployments.
The project is particularly significant as it combines EPC execution with long-term O&M services, enabling us to leverage our capabilities across manufacturing, system integration and lifecycle support.
With a 12-month execution timeline and significant supply & system integration scope, our expanding manufacturing ecosystem and operational capabilities position us well to deliver the project efficiently while maintaining tighter control over execution timelines, cost optimisation, delivery quality and capacity utilisation
This order further strengthens our utility and energy infrastructure portfolio and reflects the growing confidence of leading sector players in our technical capabilities, execution track record and integrated business model.”
