RDB Infrastructure and Power Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mecpower Solutions Limited for the execution of EPC works related to a 70 MW (AC) / 95 MW (DC) Solar Power Project integrated with a 25 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Under the agreement, both companies will jointly participate in the project with a 50:50 profit-sharing arrangement. RDB Infrastructure and Power Limited will be responsible for procurement and execution of the EPC scope for the project.
The total EPC contract value is estimated at approximately ₹348.64 crore. The project will be executed as per mutually agreed timelines and contractual terms between the parties.
The upcoming solar-plus-storage project is expected to strengthen renewable energy infrastructure in Rajasthan while supporting grid stability through integrated battery storage capacity. The project combines large-scale solar generation with energy storage solutions, reflecting the growing industry focus on reliable and sustainable clean energy systems.
