Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, one of India’s leading renewable energy conglomerates, has been conferred with the BRICS International Award for Sustainable Energy Leadership at the BRICS International Investment Forum 2026 held in New Delhi.

The forum, hosted by the BRICS Cultural Media Forum, brought together policymakers, industry leaders and innovators from across BRICS nations to promote collaboration in investment, sustainability and cultural exchange.
